Hello. Very pleased goes extremely well far better than the previous Peugeot 5008 I got rid of. I changed my previous Qashqai 1.6 petrol with CVT box 13 reg about 3 years ago mainly due to the badly corroded rear subframe, managed a pass but received an advisory instead. Car came from South Cornwall ( St Agnes )exposed to the salty atmosphere from new. This is probably the best secondhand car I’ve bought, must be at least 50 over the last 60 years. The only thing I miss is not having an automatic handbrake which came on when you turned off the engine unlike the Peugeot.

On a Peugeot I’ve just changed to a Qashqai the DPF filter blocking caused the engine management light to come on and the car to go in to 10 mph limp mode. The reason why the filter blocked was almost certainly due to my local mileage only not exceeding 5 miles per week. To get the light out ready for my sale to a dealer I used a DPF in fuel tank cleaner which cleared the problem. My Qashqai is the 1.2 petrol so lesson learnt.

Morning all. Picking up my December 2017 Qashqai today. It’s the 1.2 petrol automatic (CVT box ?). Hopefully will perform well and not suffer from rear sub frame corrosion as previous 2013 Qashqai. Thats all for now as I’ve a lot of reading of topics and posts to do 👍👍
