This is a common issue. Mirrors are same as ones on Leaf. We had one mirror changed under warranty. Other one does it sometimes so I sprayed silicone into the housing which eventually seemed to help. Sheet over door first or drips will be messy. Dealers know about it, must be a manufacturing issue. Try pushing mirror out as you unlock or fold with button on door to coax it. No reason why nee one will not eventually go that way. Mine had about same mileage with the issue.
