  1. The vanes are located inside the turbo and can be cleaned using a cleaning solution in situ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292459335127?_skw=turbo+cleaner&itmmeta=01JC60BMWEXRSD20EMHAM2ZFK6&hash=item4417ef4dd7:g:wcwAAOSwvShajqeM&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlEsMwj%2F9Rwy31LfWXY0vu7JPmLf9xI%2B%2BMMJNw2%2BBAV%2FAzGfwovr4g0y%2B3nTHJ4Prps1SHhzuT%2Ff2g2nWknOStqIPX6QYXX8mYiOwrPQZg0rCbLgkZPxW2e%2Bb%2FYuW1DwD1hTh1Pxnmpzlv3q%2Bmbox0A19ibnfkcrcj6SmcyxcJgPmsnqSNrib3vGE5upPP8XDzI8lnokXOTc44%2FUuHtUlQmJoH0yyaUgDzXcWukxhKo4OnzBu0ua0dem9Pz9hohvhw%3D|tkp%3ABlBMUKrOrsDhZA
  2. faulty Tyre Pressure Monitor (TPS) which could be causing the issue but try resetting if possible
  3. The NOX sensor B is measuring against NOX sensor A (B is usually behind A in the exhaust system) and if there is an exhaust leak then this could cause the issue
  4. Crankshaft sensor? Fuel rail pressure sensor
  5. sounds like it could be a dry auxiliary drivebelt change it for a genuine Nissan belt and sure this noise will disappear
  6. I don't believe you do just for the mechanical pump being replaced
  7. Hi Chris....welcome to the club would love to see some photos of these fine machines and they certainly do sounds like a labour of love (and lots of money as well) Good to have you onboard!
  8. Hi.....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  9. Hi.....welcome to the Club I believe there is a variant of the Nissan van (Vanette) range over the years, although not sure of prices or availability
  10. Halfords may be able to point you in the right direction if they don't have that colour in stock
  11. It does sound as though the battery has a dead cell and more than likely needs testing and replacing if necessary Check also any earth leads are intact and no corrosion on the terminals
  12. Try the SatNav Store or others like it that sell replacement SD Cards
  13. I would check / replace the transmission oil and see how that improves it (or not)
  14. sometimes, pads that are loose in the caliper carrier (lack of fitting shims) can cause this noise. Also, suspension bushes which allow minimal amount of play can also cause a noise when braking. I would at least check the pads and also any mountings and bolts in the brakes and suspension
  15. This is something you should refer to a garage in case it is a worn suspension or brake component which could be dangerous
  16. It might be worth taking the door panel off and seeing what is occurring with it, may be a loose connection or corrosion - something quite simple and easy to fix possibly
  17. Hi....welcome to the Club You can get a kit to polish the headlamps and is quite easy although does require a bit of elbow grease
  18. Halfords and eBay both have a good range of replacement audio head units (such as Sony, JVC, etc) and should be able to source aftermarket connection leads to make it all work
  19. It depends on what year it is but otherwise it may be controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) - put hazards on and see/feel where the clicking is coming from
  20. I believe you could bypass it if you can't find a replacement. Using copper pipe to take the regulator out of use.....which if you are not carrying heavy loads then it should be fine for normal use. Quite whether it will pass an MOT I'm not too certain but if the braking efficiency is fine then it should be okay
  21. Try gently banging the motor under the dashboard area because the motors fail when the brushes wear out and you can usually get it to turn (evenly slowly). If it does kick into life then its the motor that needs replacing
  22. bad earth to the headlamps possibly - check all wiring back from the bulbs and if there is a common earth point on the body panels or chassis area, then check this for damage or corrosion
  23. I would have that checked out as sounds like either the caliper is loose or the pads are missing the anti-rattle shims in the pads
  24. I would first check the fuel filter - replace if in doubt Otherwise sounds like the turbo variable vanes are gummed up with carbon but this usually puts the engine into limphome mode accompanied by an amber engine warning lamp on the dash
  25. Could be faulty battery or pedal switch Have you tried pushing the clutch down as far as it can go? Also depress brake pedal at the same time
