  1. Hi Richf .... welcome to the Club Hopefully the Serena should serve you as well as the Bongo did. Was it corrosion that forced you to part with the Bongo?
  2. Hi....welcome to the Club I would be tempted to look at the gearbox end of the cables as there may be an obstruction between the selector mechanism or even a cable fault. Otherwise I do know that the plastic cup that the gear lever sits in does wear and sometimes break up so if there is a lot of upward movement in the lever then this may be the case Please let us know what you find to be the cause Good to have you onboard!
  3. Should pull out or retained by a screw possibly - can you post a photo of the switch
  4. Left some info in your other post, you could try SatNav Disks - there are a few companies on the net
  5. You could try a Samco hose or similar, far better than original and also probably not too far off the cost of an original item https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/search/shop-by/q/samco hoses
  6. Hi keithtoon ....welcome to the Club There are aftermarket companies on the internet selling SatNav update discs but beware, some work and some don't ! They are not too expensive and worth a try as cheaper than main dealer
  7. Hi Claudio.....welcome to the Club
  8. Crikey I am surprised about a loose battery terminal in this day and age, used to be a very common problem many years ago on older cars and batteries but don't tend to hear about that much nowadays unless someone just didn't tighten it properly. The mirror fault sounds like reverse polarity on the motor or switch possibly (a small DC motor can run either way if polarity is reversed)
  9. If its a 501 bulb then it just pulls straight out
  10. I would start by checking the front tyre pressures are as they should be (see below) I wonder if they are under-inflated? https://www.tyre-pressure.co.uk/pressures/nissan/micra
  11. Hi NeilMc good to have you onboard!
  12. Let us know how you get on with it
  13. there's a few listed here on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=2006+nissan+pathfinder+brake+master+cylinder&_sacat=131090
  14. Hi....welcome to the Club Sounds like the mirror programming could be out which would also affect the lane departure I would definitely go back to the dealers and insist they re-programme the mirror/lane departure calibration settings Let us know how you get on with it all
  15. I guess you can print out the relevant sections or pages to have to hand when under the bonnet
  16. Trevor replied to Jasson's topic in Nissan Pixo Forum
Worth asking the local scrapyard as they may have both there and can do a comparison
  17. It may be the relay at fault, worth checking there is no water leaked into the fusebox area
  18. online version it is then 😞
  19. Not so sure it will be that simple I would ask the local scrapyard if they know (usually quite knowledgable about what fits what) as there may be subtle differences that would be hard to get resolved
  20. Press the brake pedal or clutch pedal to start the engine possibly ?
  21. It is more important to use the correct SAE specifications for the choice of oils to use....e.g, Nissan specification rather than the viscosity. You can use the Castrol oil selector app which states the correct grade but you may need to dig deeper as to the best specification https://www.castrol.com/en_gb/united-kingdom/home/car-engine-oil-and-fluids/motor-oil-and-fluids-finder.html
  22. I would start with resolving the oil consumption issue. This would hopefully sort any issues with noise from the engine. Maybe also research the different oil grades you can put in the engine and maybe run a heavier weight of oil (e.g. 10w40 instead of 5w30)? As long as it is the SAE specification for Nissan engines
  23. Have you managed to get some sensors fitted? Aftermarket reverse sensors are quite effective and there are several companies that will install them cheaper than the dealers would charge
  24. Hi....welcome to the Club Here is a link to some manuals on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=nissan+micra+haynes+manual&_sacat=131090
  25. That would be an ideal place to locate it
