  1. Could be the battery condition/strength or the battery leads loose or broken Also, have you tried another key fob (if you have another one)?
  2. I would check or replace the battery if it is dying that quickly. Also check the battery leads, especially the earth lead as putting the door on may have made an earth connection that illuminated the headlights
  3. It may well be suitable but imagine it would have to be programmed into the vehicle (e.g. steering angle reset)
  4. Your dealer should be able to programme this feature so it is disabled Some countries do not allow the beeps so it can be done
  5. It sounds like non-original belts (made in China) have been used and these will always squeal so worth buying original Nissan parts to rectify this issue. Also, check that they are tensioned correctly as they may have stretched (another issue with non-original belts)
  6. If there is no possibility of them being removed from above then it is an under the dashboard job, may be easier to remove any loose panels for access
  7. Sounds like the lighting relay is defective
  8. Is there anything that prompts it to power the USB or is it that intermittent? Looks like it will be a trip to an audio specialist but considering the age of the vehicle I would pop into your dealer for them to resolve it
  9. Probably find one in a scrapyard (although not too many of them left nowadays)
  10. Sounds like it needs reprogramming back into the car Not sure what year the Qashqai is or which type of key but here is a link to some YouTube videos on key programming which you could try https://www.google.com/search?q=nissan+qashqai+key+programming&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB935GB935&source=lnms&tbm=vid&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiGqbvW9Ob6AhXJglwKHZ5fCNAQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1667&bih=942&dpr=1
  11. Hi...welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard!

  13. That is not right if the brakes are spongy and should be returned to rectify the fault
  14. No, that is not the case, the pedal should be up the top and firm not at the bottom of its travel. Sounds like they have not set up the brake compensator (if fitted) and this is affecting the brake pressure. Alternatively, there may be air trapped in the system and needs bleeding out
  15. I believe it is a case of lifting it up from the shift lever but watch your face as it flies up .... been there and it hurt 🙂
  16. Like any radiator, you would need to drain and recover the coolant (which could be reused if the antifreeze strength is sufficient. Removal is then just a case of remove and refit components and then ensure there is no air trapped in the cooling system by running up and observing the temperature (hopefully the fan will kick in as well) and also check the heater blows hot
  17. Thats a good result for a cost free warranty job
  18. You are correct, it would be the left hand (nearside) wheel bearing as this is unloading the weight when you steer left
  19. It looks in amazing condition and nice to know the old ones are still being cherished by enthusiasts
  20. How has this improved (if at all) since you posted? It also depends on the type of journey as a hybrid relies on regenerative braking to put a charge in the batteries This can only be achieved in town traffic or elsewhere there is stop start driving. It is unlikely to be achieved on motorway or extra urban driving
  21. Sounds more like a WhatsApp issue if other apps are working fine?
  22. There is a throttle potentiometer switch on the pedal if it is the same as most other Nissan models and it maybe this which is clicking....although maybe worth checking no debris has collected under the pedal and around the switch
  23. Try this site https://www.satnavishop.co.uk/
  24. Let us know how you get on with that
  25. Post up pics of the Sunny if you want, be good to see one after all these years
