Does sound like a driveshaft but have heard the clunking coming from the rear diff on tarmac when I've forgotten to switch it back

Hi Sarah.....sorry for the delayed reply. It could just be some air trapped in the cooling system which is an easy fix. If you take it to a garage or a competent person that can diagnose it with an infra-red temperature gun (about £15 to buy) and see where the hot spots or blockages are. A very easy and quick diagnosis to establish the cause of overheating Let us know how you get on with it

Is it the motor or the heater resistor that has failed? What are the symptoms?

If there is a clunking noise on acceleration or most definitely when turning full lock in one or either direction. Also, this could be that the transmission is in 4WD on tarmac and can destroy the rear differential

Hi....welcome to the Club In reality, the disc retaining screws hold the disc to the hub flange but when the wheel is secured the discs are located and secured in position so the screws are then redundant. By using the screws to secure the disc it makes it easier to fit the wheel with aligning the wheel when fitting.

Can you reverse the connection....e.g. initiating it from the phone to car instead?

Its tough to say without experiencing it first hand. It is more likely to be a stabiliser mount as in the gearbox mount as it is under a backwards and forward motion that is causing the noise. Therefore, it has to be a mount or stabiliser bar that controls that motion

I would definitely restore it if there is no corrosion and it seems to be mechanically sound. It will only go up in value over the years and would be a great car to drive around occasionally and take to shows in the future

I think Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or eBay are the best choices for secondhand ones....seen a few on there over the past year

Hi....welcome to the Club Not sure if there is a recall issue but definitely worth taking into a Nissan dealer to have the ADAS looked at. It may be performing as it should be may not be capable of recalibrating for some reason, hence Autoglass wouldn't touch it Let us know how you get on with it

Hi....welcome to the Club Generally, most cleaners are suitable to help break down the carbon but you would also need to drive it hard to build up the pressure which helps to blow out the soot. Worst case scenario would be to get the DPF professionally cleaned and refitted which will almost certainly resolve the issue Let us know how you get on with it

Usually an external antenna should resolve this. Halfords stock these, and reasonably priced

It sounds like the air con system could do with checking out, e.g. gas pressures and then see if this makes a difference with it cutting out

You could try Sat Nav store and see what they offer, would be cheaper than the dealers for an update

I would ask the question as it sounds like a door lock actuator fault and better for them to foot the bill

Only other thing I can think of is the wiring loom that goes from the drivers door to the A post is broken. Peel back the rubber gaiter and also inspect the connections. Sometimes, when a door is opened and closed over time the wiring breaks where it articulates (also happens on tailgates).
