Hi Kevin.....welcome to the Forum Haven't seen a Nissan (or was it Datsun) Cherry in such a long time, can't be many left on the road nowadays. Good to have you onboard and hope you get a response to your question soon

2017 Micra K14 (new model) washer jet adjustment....
Trevor replied to stephen's topic in Micra Club's Topics
They would need unblocking rather than moving direction. Try fusewire to clear the jets if the warm water does not work.....top up with quality screenwash afterwards -
Hi Marc.....welcome to the forum You could try increasing the pressure by another 5psi to see if this eliminates the message and if not the let the air back out. Sometimes you would need to drive it for a period to see if this makes any difference

2017 Micra K14 (new model) washer jet adjustment....
Trevor replied to stephen's topic in Micra Club's Topics
Hi Stephen.....welcome to the forum I would advise filling the reservoir with a decent quality screenwash and top up with warm (not boiling) water to see if this clears it. If the jets have not physically moved then it is more likely that they have partially blocked and this is why the water is spraying off target -
Hi Dave.....welcome to the Forum Try this, hopefully it will work Nissan Key Fob Programming Instructions Sit in the driver's seat of your Nissan. Close and lock the doors. Hi Will Any progress with the build so far? Would be interested to see how it looks during the installation and the end result

Hi ..... welcome to the Forum Any independent garage should be able to replace light units or bulbs....not worth spending big money with the dealerships for a relatively simple job. Let us know how you get on with it

Hi Stephen Unfortunately, we do not hold any official Nissan vehicle records so cannot assist you with your request. However, there may be someone in the club that has the knowledge required as to where to go from here? Good luck with the registration.

New member why is the forum so quiet
Trevor replied to vixcrack's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi.....welcome to the Forum Sorry, it is a bit quiet at the moment but it sometimes gets a lot busier then generally quietens down at certain times of the year. Feel free to post up any questions or anything to liven it up a bit 🙂 Good to have you onboard Trevor -
FM radio replacement with DAB touchscreen
Trevor replied to paulb's topic in Nissan Audio / Video / Electronics / Security
Hi....welcome to the forum This has been discussed before I believe and it appears that coding in the new unit is the part that causes issues. Having to be coded via the CanBus to identify the new unit requires Dealer level diagnostic equipment but it is worth asking a dealer how much they would charge you to code it in after physically changing it over yourself -
Just bought a 15 plate xtrail and love it.
Trevor replied to vixcrack's topic in X-Trail Club's Topics
Hi....welcome to the forum My son in law has a similar age X-Trail and he loves it, although he has had a few teething problems (handbrake switch, keys, etc) but now all resolved by dealer -
Sounds like you need to check the main vehicle battery for charge if it has not been used for a while then it has probably discharged

Haven't seen anything to suggest this action. Worth changing the oil more frequently and keeping an eye on any new noises but our 2013 Juke 1.6 petrol is not displaying any signs of premature timing chain failure (as yet...touch wood!)

Let us know how its all going Dave

Hi Tina....welcome to the Forum I would entrust the car to an auto-electrician as they should be able to diagnose the fault by looking for a large current drain and isolating different circuits until the readings drop. It is time consuming more than costly to diagnose and will be easier to find with the correct knowledge and test equipment. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor

Hi....welcome to the Forum Maybe you would need to drop the initial digit to bring it to the required amount??

Hi....welcome to the Forum https://www.vinnumberlocation.com/nissan-serena.html Hope this helps

Hi....welcome to the Forum Not sure if it is a common fault but if it is still covered by warranty then I would definitely get them to replace it for free. Let us know how you get on with it

1986 Nissan Cabstar engine replacement
Trevor replied to pds's topic in General Nissan Owners Lounge
Hi....welcome to the Forum You could just bypass the oil cooler in the interim to determine whether this is the cause of the coolant mixing with the oil. Not too bad this time of the year for temperature so shouldn't overheat the engine in the short term. Not sure of engine compatibility, sorry 😞 -
Hi Jon....welcome to the Forum With the complications involved in wiring and coding in a later Nissan head unit it would be easier to directly wire in an aftermarket head unit from Halfords You can even get the wiring adapters and fascia plates from them

2010 qashqai radio
Trevor replied to Gareth's topic in Nissan Audio / Video / Electronics / Security
Hi....welcome to the Forum I believe you can get an external DAB radio interface...check Halfords to see what they can offer -
Hi....welcome to the Forum I'm not 100% sure but you may be able modify the braking system to take it out of the equation and replace with copper pipes to bypass it completely and remove it from the vehicle. It would only be used to compensate for weight and add more pressure to the rear brakes to aid braking, which probably not be too noticeable when braking. If it passes the MOT on brake efficiency then it would be suitable for road use.

Hi.....welcome to the Forum I wonder if Nissan sell something to fit....then maybe get the brand and part number to research it elsewhere?

Hi....welcome to the forums It could be some corrosion on the mechanism (like a detent not popping back into place). Maybe worth spraying WD40 or similar into the mirror assembly to free everything up
