Yes, please let us know....hopefully its a cheap fix for you -
I cannot see any bulbs listed specifically for the glovebox but not to say there isn't one there....may need to use a mirror to look up into the depths of the dashboard to see if there is a light unit there

Hi....welcome to the Forum I'm not sure there is an auxiliary input for the system but you could use something similar to this gadget which will give you connectivity. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Elobeth-Wireless-Bluetooth-Car-Receiver-Stereo-Audio-Adapter-3-5mm-Aux-Input-Jac/122789432388?epid=1476325337&hash=item1c96d20c44:g:0jEAAOSwk-1Z-5m1

Aircon question - X-Trail T32
Trevor replied to Broadbandbond007's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi.....welcome to the Forum Sounds like it could be a slightly loose belt but also if it is worn then it won't grip too well when under load. Worth tightening or replacing to determine that it is the cause of the chirping. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor -
It would be worth checking to see if there is an oil cooler that is cooled by water (similar to Volkswagen) in which case this could be perforated and allowing oil into the coolant. Or it could be residue from before the gasket was replaced and is still sitting in the cooling system

I suppose it's not too bad of an outcome as I'm sure it will probably acquire a few more battle wounds along the way and as given its age then it may be the best solution to leave it like it is and just replace the bonnet to make it look better.

Hi Ray....welcome to the Forum You may be lucky and get a retro-install by the dealers, depends on whether the wiring it there for it already. Let us know what you find out Cheers, Trevor

There wouldn't be any way to physically remove the alarm system (unless it is an after market system) but you could see if there is a fuse for the alarm (which I doubt there is) otherwise, you could physically remove the alarm siren to at least keep it quiet but the indicators would still flash and therefore flatten the battery. Have you tried just locking it on the door lock rather than using the remote handset?

Battery seems fine with those readings. I would say that it does seem that it is just too sensitive but not sure if you can adjust this.

That's a great price and sounds like the service is second to none....it's nice to hear of a good outcome from taking a car to a garage for repair, mostly hear too many negative ones. Glad to hear its all sorted and back on the road with least inconvenience. Feel free to share the Garage name and details on here for others to benefit from their good service (if they're local to the area). Thanks for sharing your news with us.

Hi Clayton....welcome to the Forum The Almera Sport is a great car, haven't seen one around for a while...obviously getting a bit rare nowadays. Main dealer would be the best bet to get a code...should be able to provide it free or at little cost. If too expensive to obtain one, then maybe an aftermarket head unit would be the best way forward Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

Hi - location for oxygen sensor (Note, Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Trevor replied to reayn3's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi...welcome to the Forum Bank 1 (only one bank of cylinders on a Note), sensor 2 - should be the rear one (after the Catalytic Converter) that measures the efficiency of the Cat...should be the same as the front sensor but maybe with a slightly longer loom. Let us know what you find Cheers, Trevor -
Hi Simon....welcome to the Forum Thanks for sharing the pics and write up on Dennis...very inspirational. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

No ring tone on 2017 X-Trail with iPhone (iOS11)
Trevor replied to Mattanorak's topic in X-Trail Club's Topics
lol....sounds like an Apple oddity -
Sorry, not sure if it is a sealed unit but I sometimes say is that 'if it went together it should come apart' which is okay in theory but how much damage will occur getting it apart. Let us know what you find

Hi....welcome to the Forum Seems strange that it works on one phone and not the other....which leads me to think you may be right about it being a phone issue rather than the car itself. Let us know how you get on with Nissan Cheers, Trevor -
Hi....welcome to the Forum Classic car now and only got to be going up in rarity and value I would imagine. Here's a useful link to find out how many, or few are left https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/ Cheers, Trevor

Newbie with a warning sound question!!
Trevor replied to adders66's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi...welcome to the Forum First thoughts are level sensors but if not, then maybe an issue with a front parking sensor which could be sensing the bollard....just a thought. Not sure if you can switch them off to try it? Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor -
Any interior sensors would not set off the alarm if a bus goes by (even though they have a hell of a lot of vibration come from them) as it only controls the interior (volumetric sensing) but if you had an air freshener hanging off the mirror then it would. I would still get the battery checked to be on the safe side though
