HI Jo...welcome to the club!
Probably the best bet is to contact the main dealer, who will normally give you the code for free
Let us know how you get on with it

Hi Hannah
I would definitely say that the rotary coupling that connects the steering wheel electronics & airbag is defective.
Have you had any work carried out on the vehicle recently?

Hi Paul,
It sounds very much poor earth connections, worth checking the earth lead from the battery to the engine/gearbox as Nissan's tend to suffer from this.

HI,
Apologies for the technical glitch...we will look into this.
However, we did send a response to your 'contact us' request so not sure if that is working okay?
Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Alice...welcome to the club!
I must say, the Sunny looks in remarkable condition, how many miles on it?

Hi,
The X-Trail should be perfectly capable of traversing rough roads but wouldn't chance it for anything too demanding.
I look at the capabilities of most Crossovers and believe that most of them will get you out of a sticky situation if necessary but then that is subject to having the right sort of tyres fitted (e.g. dual purpose - M/S - Mud & Snow type).
Let us know what happens with the upgrade

Thats quite a bit of drain...not the boot light is it?
The best way to properly diagnose it is to measure the amps draw at the fusebox and remove fuses to eliminate the current draw...time consuming but effective
