I would replace the belt if it has approached that mileage and time period as a matter of course and not take the chance

The rear seats should fold down and allow you to access the tailgate from inside. From there you could remove the inner lining and access the latch mechanism

Hi Chris....welcome to the Forum It sounds like a classic case of faulty glow plug(s), I would have them checked for resistance and replace the faulty one(s)...shouldn't be too expensive Cheers Trevor

Hi James...welcome to the Forum I would not advise driving a car with any red warning lamp, although amber is generally okay. However, it appears to be a fault in the ABS / Stability system which shouldn't affect the performance of the car. If it affected the braking then I would be concerned and if it affected the performance (e.g. going into Limp Home mode) then again it is a dangerous concern. Hi and welcome to the Forum The Tekna is a good car but thoroughly check out whether it has full dealer service history to ensure all recalls and updates have been carried out. A lot of Nissans tend to suffer from electrical gremlins so worth checking all the controls and switches work okay. Cheers Trevor

Hi Ivan...welcome to the Forum I think your theory about the MAF sensor is about right..you should just be able to replace the sensor itself as opposed to the housing it is within...slightly cheaper sometimes! Definitely check fault codes first to see if there is mention of the MAF sensor. Cheers Trevor

Hi Susan....welcome to the Forum It sounds very much like a Crankshaft Position Sensor or a similar engine rotation sensor which can fail when hot, once cool then the engine starts and runs fine. Alternatively, a broken wire or corroded electrical connection somewhere in the fuel or ignition system. Sorry, can't be more specific but it sounds like a generic intermittent fault. Its difficult to tell from the image as its a bit blurred but rule of thumb is yellow lamp is a cautionary warning and it is more than likely for the rear belts. Worth plugging them in to see if it disappears.

Sorry, not sure but it will probably come out with brute force if you're not worried about keeping it.

Hi Lou....welcome to the Forum I think the coolant sensor is the culprit....usually is when cold starts are involved The sensor should have 2 wires going to it, if there is one with one wire it is more than likely the one for the temperature gauge. It should be located on the end of the cylinder head with a large(ish) connector attached to it Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

Probably go on like that for years...but you could try adding some cleaner additive to the fuel...that may help
