Where goes the towing eye ???

New here.

 

Wife's new K12 2006 1.4 auto, 22K miles (yes!)

 

No towing eye with the tools in the boot.  BUT nowhere to screw it in!  No flap or anything in the front as per handbook.

 

Is this because it is an auto and can't be towed? (very far) doesn't seem logical.
