moby Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I have just aquired a Micra K11 automatic with the CVT box from my daughter.Sometimes it refuses to start or turn over unless I jiggle the gear selector about so I guess the inhibitor switch is faulty, my question is, where is it ? I can't see it on the gearbox by the linkage.
PhilSD Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Hi did you ever find the inhibitor switch as I am having the same problem and I dont know where it is either any help would be appreciated
moby Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Nope, sorry but I have not found it yet.! I took out the brushes to have a look at them as they have done 98000 miles and they were as good as new, so no worries there. My big problem at the moment is a sticky auto shift lever. If I switch engine off then the lever slides through the gears like silk, with engine running it will slide from park into reverse but any other position it will crunch if I can get it to move at all, it's very similar to clutch drag but it doesn't have a clutch does it.?
