Hi just joined Nissan Forum.

Bought new Qahqai Tekna 1.6 D CVT (2014). At time of Purchase I opted for the Spare wheel which was supplied with new polystyrene spacers which fit around the wheel and has several cut outs to accommodate wheel changing / repair tools etc.

The only problem is - the wheel jack does not fit into the allocated cut out?? well it does to some extent but the one end of the jack protrudes out and strikes the car bodywork just behind where the rear bumper is located.

Only thing I can do is to wrap the jack in a cloth and leave within the spare wheel rim

Spoke to Customer Liaison who is unable to do anything re this other than refer issue back to design team who 'may' look at it as and when !

and then if and when they decide to remedy the problem

Just thought I'd mention the fact should anyone else be thinking of going for the spare wheel option on the new Qashqai
