Mrbug Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Hi folks!I've owned my 2002 Almera for around one year now, when I first bought the car it became apparent that the front discs seemed to be warped. So I bought the disc/pads kit and changed them. While doing the change over the drivers side wheel bearing also needed replacing so I did that at the same time. One month later the new bearing needed replacing again so after some inspection/research I decided that the hub was warped, probably causing the original issue.... After replacing the hub and bearing again and making a mental note that the bottom arms could do with replacing all seemed fine. A month or so later the bearing goes again. Same drill - replace and keep my eye on it. Roll on to the present and the car is giving the tell tale noises of the bearing going again! While it is not a massive job to replace I'd sooner find the source... I'm starting to think the car may have been crashed or severely curbed at some point although nothing in its printed history to suggest this. Anyone ever experienced similar?Any thoughts/suggestions/help would be hugely appreciated.
