micra reverse light switch

Hi all, just wondered if anyone can help. my wife has a 2005 micra 1.2 urbis and have no reverse lights I've changed the bulbs and checked the fuses but no joy. how difficult is it to change the reverse light switch and where is it positioned?? thanks in advance

Old thread but same problem on a 06 plate, any help please?

The reverse light switch should be on either the top or side of the gearbox and will have a two wire lead going to it
