X trail 2015 tail gate won't open

Tail gate closed manually by hand.. Now won't open by remote or switch

Hi, my X-trail is September 1st 2015 65 plate just been in garage for faulty boot seems it needed a new control panel!!!!! Garage were stumped as to what it was, all buttons on boot and inside stopped working. Only worked on key fob then this got stuck mid closure. All fixed now but there has been another one booked in for same problem

My wife’s 2015 Ntec has just developed this issue. It’s still under warranty though, which is a relief. Is the fault easily repaired?
