Warlord
Good afternoon, Just been to test drive a DCI Juke on a 61 plate with 68,000, and I currently have a 2008 Saab Convertible, my car is super comfy, but the Juke seems very nice, my only concern at present is the mileage, my car has nearly 90K on and has had a very hard life, my worry is that this Juke might have also had a hard life, so I guess i'm asking if the DCI 1.5 Juke is a good buy? Its in a funny dark bronze almost black colour, its Acenta trim so has Cruise and that funky multi display function thing on the dash, Cruise control has been something I have loved on my Saab, but I was wanting to trade to something with better load capacity which the Juke has really well, I was also considering a totally different car with the Kia Rio 1.45CRDI, any thoughts or advice would be most appreciated, as I am currently torn between something radical like the Juke, or something a little less radical but much cheaper tax and more functions like heated seats like my Saab has.... Give me some advice ladies an gents.... Is the 1.5 DCI a good reliable engine? Is the mileage an issue do you think? It has FSH with mainly dealer stamps. Trevor
Hi Warlord Did you buy the Juke in the end?
Warlord
Nope, I ended up with a Kia instead, couldn't get any sense from anyone with the DCi engine, even Nissan were telling me it was a Nissan engine, even though its a Renault engine, all in all, didn't get anywhere, so opted for something smaller and newer..... I still like the Juke, but every garage I visited thought there cars were all worth a fortune, and mine was worthless, its a pity that many garages still have moronic sales people, and both Nissan Huddersfield and Wakefield couldn't even be bothered to come and talk to me, despite being in the car sales area, too busy on mobile phones and chatting on facebook. Trevor
The Kia is quite a fine car really...know several people that have had Kia for years and no problems at all. Maybe when Nissan are not selling enough cars will they then rethink their sales techniques. Cheers Trevor
