Gentlegiant Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I have a 2017 x-trail tekna where is the best place to get front and rear wind deflectors please.
Trevor Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hi...welcome to the Forum I bought some wind deflectors from this company for my Honda CRV and have been very pleased with them http://www.carmats4u.com/ Let us know how you get on with acquiring some Cheers Trevor
Gentlegiant Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 I have ordered a set of 4 Heko from eBay for £29.99. They are due any day now so will let you know how they are. They are actually from mk.tuning11
Trevor Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Heko are a very good make...look forward to seeing a piccy of them on
Gentlegiant Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 My wind deflectors came and are on my x-trail and I must say what a difference they make when window down. A good purchase in my opinion. Will post a picture later when washed and polished my car.
Trevor Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 They certainly do make a difference, not only to the turbulence and also the noise levels. Looking forward to seeing how they look on the car.
Gentlegiant Posted June 15, 2017 Author Posted June 15, 2017 Can't really see the wind deflectors but they not only stop wind noise but also look good.
Trevor Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Certainly looks the business....gives it nice clean lines now
Gentlegiant Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 Hi All, I am now after the chrome trim that goes round the indicator on the wing mirrors any ideas. I've looked on ebay and they all seem to be from China and Hong Kong has any body ordered any of these from ebay and what is the quality like Please.
Trevor Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 I have had some in the past and quite honestly they do look quite cheap....maybe try some UK manufactured or OE ones...big difference!
Gentlegiant Posted June 28, 2017 Author Posted June 28, 2017 Cheers for that, I will look for better quality ones.
