NissanNorm Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Hi, I have a problem with my 2008 Nissan Qashqai 1.5 diesel which won’t start. Last week the car took a couple of attempts to start but only on a few days, and then on Saturday refused to start at all. I thought it was a dirty fuel filter but have replaced that and it has made no difference. There appears to be no power supply to the fuel pump under the rear seats when I checked it with a multimeter. Does anyone know which connector in IPDM supplies power to this pump or can supply a relevant wiring diagram?
Trevor Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 There could be several issues affecting the power supply to the pump, system relay, crank sensor, immobiliser, fuel cut off valve, fuel pressure switch to name but a few. Probably best to run a diagnostic on the other systems to see if any live data reveals an issue. Also, worth checking all earth straps as these can be problematic on Nissans
NissanNorm Posted July 3, 2017 Author Posted July 3, 2017 Thanks Trevor, I will look into the earth straps and then get it booked in on a diagnostic machine.
