GRAEME SMART Posted August 15, 2017 Share Posted August 15, 2017 HI IV HAD MY X TRAIL FOR 7 WEEKS NEARLY AND I USE IT TO TOW MY BOAT, LAST WEDNESDAY I TOOK IT OUT AND THE TIDE WATER WAS A LITTLE LOW SO I REVERSED T HE CAR AND TRAILER INTO THE WATER BELOW THE MAXIMUM WADE HEIGHT BUT WHEN I GOT BACK INTO THE CAR THERE WAS ABOUT 2" INCHES OF WATER ON THE WHOLE OF THE CAR NOW NISSAN SAYS IT MY FAULT AND IT VOIDS THE WARRANTY AS IT KNOCKED OUT MY 4X4 SYSTEM, IF ANYONE HAS A SIMILAR PROBLEM PLEASE SHARE OR LET ME KNOW YOUR OUT COME THANKS GRAEME. Trevor Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Hi Graeme.....welcome to the Forum That's very unfortunate, especially as you say it was below the maximum wade height...surely it should be able to handle that type of activity as it is sold as a Utility vehicle?
