Celt61
Hi all. My done has bought a nissan skyline R34. We have been trying for four months to get it registered. All other paperwork is in order. But the DVLA insisting on a date of manufacture certificate. They say this must come the manufacturer (Nissan Japan won't help, nissan uk say they can't help) or an official vehicle owners club or enthusiasts club. I quote, "must contain the date/year that the vehicle was manufactured and must explain what source information was used to determine the date of manufacture." I have sent DVLA information from an expert on jdm cars, output from a database showing the date of manufacture etc etc etc. But my last chance is an owners club, which brings me here. I am more than willing to pay for someone's time to help me with this. It's horrible to see my lads car, that he worked hard to get, sitting on the driveway for months. So if anyone here can provide me with a dating certificate of some form, on owners club headed paper, please get in touch. Kind regards. Trevor
Hi Stephen Unfortunately, we do not hold any official Nissan vehicle records so cannot assist you with your request. However, there may be someone in the club that has the knowledge required as to where to go from here? Good luck with the registration.
