ensta
Hi all, Have just pickedup a 2007 Pathfinder. Issue is that the FM radio isn't working. It makes no sound, not even a hiss, even with the volume turned-up to max. The CD player and BT phone all work fine, as does the amp etc, obvs. The radio also seeks but finds nothing. Have removed the fuse for the elec parts. This was in good condition, no corrosion and not blown. Have replaced, no change. Also, the car isn't remembering any settings between uses. Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated. Cheers
Trevor
Hi ... welcome to the Forum It sounds as though the aerial connection or booster (if fitted) have gone faulty. You could add a DAB converter to the system to get a better range of stations....Halfords sell them and not too expensive nowadays
ensta
Thanks How is this fitted? I spoke to Clarion and they said, that absolutley no modifications could be made to the unit, for fear of triggering the telecoding security on it. Cheers, N*
Trevor
I believe the DAB aftermarket kit fits in line with the current audio so shouldn't interfere with it. Chat with Halfords as I know they sell the kits there

ensta
That's a def no. Just FYI. "No user servicable parts. Do not open. Warranty void if seal broken" Only Nissan (Clarion) can touch the sound system, otherwise... But thanks for the suggestion
