Geminidragon76 Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Hi guys, hoping someone can help...I recently done my own brake change ( discs and pads ) on my 2007 NOTE, unfortunately I had to drill out the disc retaining screws...I ordered some from my local Nissan service centre, and they don't fit, they seem a little wide so don't secure the discs...just wondering if anyone knows of any alternative sizes that would fit and be safe. For reference eicher pads and discs, from eurocarparts
Trevor Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 Hi....welcome to the Club In reality, the disc retaining screws hold the disc to the hub flange but when the wheel is secured the discs are located and secured in position so the screws are then redundant. By using the screws to secure the disc it makes it easier to fit the wheel with aligning the wheel when fitting.
