auto k12 micra strange acceleration issues

getting some really strange acceleration issues, but only intermittenly

 

randomly when pressing my foot on the accelerator, im getting odd on and off acceleration as it i was tap dancing on the pedal, ive noticed the rev counter also going up and down

 

any ideas what this could be

 

ive did 108k miles on it and its serviced every year

Did you find the issue?

Could be a vacuum leak on a hose on the intake manifold side of the engine.
Check all rubber hoses to see if they are perished or split
