Have just had to deal twice with foxes chewing through abs cables to the rear wheels of my qasqai

first repair at nissan dealers who charged 270 quid to repair cable and then cover it in grease

the second repair to the opposite sides cable that nissan failed to grease whilst doing the first cable

auto electrician repair  to cable 90 quid

when it happens hill start assist , cruise , stop start are all disabled till its repaired

Apparently cable insulation is  a soy based one that nissan use

is there a better  permanent solution to this problem than greasing all the cables under the car ???

That's unfortunate and likely to continue if you don't coat the vunerable parts with grease.

I would advise you coat all areas that are likely to be affected and see where that goes
