Badd bazz Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) Have just had to deal twice with foxes chewing through abs cables to the rear wheels of my qasqai first repair at nissan dealers who charged 270 quid to repair cable and then cover it in grease the second repair to the opposite sides cable that nissan failed to grease whilst doing the first cable auto electrician repair to cable 90 quid when it happens hill start assist , cruise , stop start are all disabled till its repaired Apparently cable insulation is a soy based one that nissan use is there a better permanent solution to this problem than greasing all the cables under the car ??? Trevor Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 That's unfortunate and likely to continue if you don't coat the vunerable parts with grease. I would advise you coat all areas that are likely to be affected and see where that goes
