Lupe66 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Having problems with my Quashqai starting. It ticks over then two seconds stops, now won’t start at all. Has done it two months before, the aa wiped codes off and then it started. Now two months later it won’t start again. Garage says it’s the fuel pump regulator. But with my model apparently the regulator can’t be just replaced as it’s attached to the fuel pump so the whole fuel pump will need to be replaced. Quoting me £1600 plus to fix. Does anyone know if this is true for my model or am I able to buy the regulator part and just replace that? Its 2013 reg, 1.5 L dci. much appreciated!
NissanFan Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Hi, what codes showed up when you had it checked? I’m sure you can’t just purchase the regulator as it is inbuilt into the fuel pump on the 1.5 k9k engine so you would have to fork out for the lot 1
