2001 pulsar, timing chain tensioner

Hi, pulled the timing chain tensioner off a 2001 puslar 1.5 engine which flew apart and i found a small ball bearing a spring and the piston. im not sure where the ball bearing goes, can any one help me? thank you, sean.
