DIMMY007 Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 I have a Nissan Juke N CONNECTA 2016 and I am stunned that there is no brake pad wear warning light on the dash! The only warning the pads etc need replacing is a high pitched noise coming from the wheels. This car was made in 2016 but my previous car was made in 1995 and that had a warning light for brake pad wear!.Has anyone had any experience with this Juke warning noise for the pads etc. .and how loud it is? Also once the noise happens how many miles left on the front pads or rear shoes when the warning noise happens?..many thanks.
Trevor Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Some cars use an audible brake pad wear indicator that scrapes against the disc when it reaches a certain wear limit When you hear that you will need to change them immediately
