angelsonesix Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Purchased a ENV 200 and foxes are chewing the ABS cables. I payed over £400 to fix them and the next day they attacked the same cables is there a manufacture problem here never experienced this before. What is the best way to prevent this happening again if I have to shell out another payday for repairs 1
Trevor Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Can you spray the cables with something smelly that will deter the foxes?

I'm not bothering to repair them as they'll only get chewed again. Apparently, it's soy or peanut oil in the insulation that could be attracting the foxes. It's happening a lot to other vehicles from what I've read online. It means that I can't move the gearstick from D to B to generate a bit more mileage. Nissan must know about this though - I wonder if they can be bothered to do anything about it though? A lady up the road has the same van and puts spikes under hers to deter the foxes.
