Trevor
This is something you should refer to a garage in case it is a worn suspension or brake component which could be dangerous
ChrisKA
Thanks Trevor it’s weird as it’s been doing this since I bought the car 3 years ago it’s passed MOTs
Trevor Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM Share Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM sometimes, pads that are loose in the caliper carrier (lack of fitting shims) can cause this noise. Also, suspension bushes which allow minimal amount of play can also cause a noise when braking. I would at least check the pads and also any mountings and bolts in the brakes and suspension
