smoothound Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Hi folks - 1st post please be gentle - thanks My partner's quashqai (2017 1.5 dCi Tekna) wont start - without touching anything, all the dash and warning lights flash on and off, handbrake light flashes to , radio and headlights are flashing randomly - there was a brief 'system error' warning, but that has not repeated - I can hear one or more relays clicking repeatedly without anything being touched - the handbrake wont disengage - the car will power down when the engine button is pressed and it locks OK - safe home headlight timed delay works too. Any ideas please? - could it be low battery? - I checked with a multimeter and its showing 13V - engine management computer blown? Thanks so much
Trevor Posted December 2 Posted December 2 It sounds like battery strength and condition is poor. I would definitely try a new battery before proceeding to replace other parts 1
