Sophie Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Hello! First time posting here. I have been trying for about six months now to find a silver nsf wing for my Nissan Note Visia, with a hole for a side light. My local garage has told me they will fit the part for a very reasonable price, however would charge a lot more to spray it. I don't mind the colour being slightly off, but would prefer a silver one if possible. I have requested the part on multiple sites (Parts Gateway, 1st Choice Spares, Breaker Yard) and had alerts on eBay and Facebook Marketplace, but no luck. It seems that, at least in this country, the Visia is quite rare. I have found a few options. There is one available in grey on eBay, but eBay tells me it won't fit my car. It is a Visia wing with side light, but the breaker car is diesel, mine is petrol. Will the wing still fit? There is also one I have found, which isn't coloured, from Blic. Would it be easy to spray myself? I don't know which is the better option. I also wondered whether it was worth trying to find a panel beater who might be able to rescue the existing wing, or whether this would be impossible. Or whether getting a wing without a hole for a side light, for a Note Acenta for example, and finding someone to cut a hole for the side light, was an option. I have been quoted £900 for a proper repair and respray, but my car is quite old and I didn't want to spend that much. I also didn't want to go through insurance and pay the excess plus increased premium. I've been going round in circles so any advice would be much appreciated!
