Penny Medder Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hi we have a Spanish plated Nissan Patrol KY 260 and our trying to register it with the DVLA.. they are asking us for the following We require original dating certificates, written in English on letter headed paper and must clearly state the date of issue, the vehicle identity number (VIN) or chassis number and the vehicle’s make and model and be signed. Does anyone know where we can get this information? Thanks
sawbouk Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Hello, you need the following to register the vehicle... You will have to contact Nissan UK and apply to get a ( Certificate of Conformity letter ) give them all the vehicles details etc you might have to pay between £25 and up for it once you get it fill in a V55/5 form also required is a MOT , a 30 day insurance taken out the Vin # this is supplied from Adrian Flux insurance if you dont have this costly insurance you want be able to register it - a copy of your UK drivers license or passport - a utility bill not older than 3 months or your council tax statement and the required Ist UK registration fee of £55 plus they want up front 12 months road tax all this has to match up with the same address then Send it all of to DVLA the usual wait to get a V5 is 3/5 weeks I am waiting for one myself anything else you need just ask..
